Ce projet a été réalisé par des étudiants de l’IMT Nord Europe de Douai dans le cadre des projets ouverts. Les étudiants l’ont appelé « la face cachée de Douai ».
Bien que ce ne soit pas toujours visible, l’Europe est très présente dans le quotidien de chacun. Elle agit à travers de nombreux biais. En effet, l’Union Européenne investit beaucoup d’argent, elle finance énormément de projets de construction, de rénovation, d’accompagnement. L’objectif de ce parcours de géocaching est donc de valoriser toutes ces actions ainsi que de sensibiliser et informer les utilisateurs (habitants de Douai, touristes, groupes scolaires,…) au sujet de l’Europe.
Le but de ce parcours est de mettre en valeur la ville ainsi que les actions mises en place par l’Union Européenne.
Mais qu’est-ce que le géocaching ?
Le géocaching est un loisir de plein air qui consiste à utiliser la technique du géopositionnement par satellite pour rechercher des « caches » dans divers endroits à travers le monde. Il s’agit donc de disposer différents caches dans la ville, afin de créer des parcours passant par différents lieux d’intérêt. Chaque parcours doit passer par des lieux emblématiques de Douai dans lesquels l’Europe joue un rôle important.
Comment faire pour réaliser ce parcours à Douai ?
Il faut se rendre sur le site OpenCaching.de ou sur l’application c:geo reliée au site internet disponible sous Android pour réaliser le parcours.
